It’s Foodgasm Friday again and continuing on from Peruvian Anticuchos from last week, This week it’s another dish I had in Lima Peru. The raw seafood dish of Cerviche.
Cerviche is a seafood dish that is popular in Central and South America, What make’s in unique from many other seafood dishes is that it isn’t cooked but has raw fish marinated in citrus juices, Such as lemon or lime.
The one I tried in a restauraunt in Lima Peru had an additional sauce on it and was a mix of seafood from, Octopus, fish, calamari, crab etc.
I am a great lover of seafood especially fried or deep fried however the whole raw aspect of this meal wasn’t really for me. It was still delicious but the whole time I was eating it I was just wishing that it was fried instead of raw.
Have you ever had Cerviche? and what did you think of it?
mmmmm nom nom nom
