I arrived in Antigua Guatemala only expecting to spend a couple of days there. I ended up spending 6 days in Antigua and 2 days up at Earth Lodge in the mountains overlooking Antigua.
The thing that Facsinates me most about Antigua is that it is surrounded by volcano’s, one of them being active. This photo was taken from earth lodge
Awesome picture! Isn’t it funny how life works out like that? You plan to only be somewhere only 1 day and you stay a week? We’ve had plenty of such experiences in our adventures, most of them turned out for the best. :o) Did you stay so long because it was so pretty?
